Labor & Employment Law Attorney

Lashly & Baer, P.C. is looking for an attorney with a minimum of three years of experience to join our labor and employment practice.

This is a hands-on role where you’ll be working directly with public and private sector employers on the kinds of issues that come up every day such as employee discipline, workplace policies, compliance questions, and helping employers make practical, legally sound decisions. You’ll draft and review employment-related agreements, revise employee policies, help navigate tricky personnel situations, and be a regular point of contact for clients who rely on us for straightforward, timely advice.

A big part of our practice involves representing public-sector clients, so if you have experience with (or interest in learning) public employment issues, open meetings, or working with governmental bodies, that’s a plus. We also assist our clients with public sector bargaining, so any experience with (or interest in learning) public sector labor negotiations is also a plus. Our practice involves employment and civil rights litigation, and you will have the opportunity to represent our clients in interesting and often complex litigation.

We’re looking for someone who is responsive, easy to work with, and genuinely interested in being a trusted advisor to clients. Strong writing and communication skills matter, as does a willingness to keep learning. We offer strong mentorship and a great opportunity to build and expand an interesting and rewarding practice.

If you’re looking for a role where you can build real client relationships and do meaningful labor and employment work, we’d like to talk.

Lashly & Baer, P.C. provides an excellent benefits package and flexible schedule. Salary commensurate with experience. Interested applicants should send resume to Kara Brostron, Director of Operations, at kmbrostron@lashlybaer.com. For information on Lashly & Baer, P.C., visit www.lashlybaer.com
