ST. LOUIS – Tuesday, Dec. 16, 2025 – Lashly & Baer, P.C. announced today that it will open a new office in Edwardsville, Illinois effective January 1, 2026. The new location expands the firm’s presence in Illinois and reinforces its long-term commitment to serving clients throughout the Metro East and surrounding communities.
For more than a century, as a full-service firm, Lashly & Baer has developed a very diverse and extremely loyal base of local, regional and national clients. The Edwardsville office will strengthen the firm’s accessibility for Illinois-based clients and support continued growth across the firm’s core practice areas.

Stump, president of Lashly & Baer. “Establishing a permanent, fully staffed office in Edwardsville positions us to expand our footprint in Illinois and better serve the communities and businesses throughout the region.”
As part of the transition, Lashly & Baer will close its Belleville, Illinois office and shift its Illinois presence to the new Edwardsville location. The Edwardsville office will be staffed by Illinois-based attorneys and support professionals and will provide a convenient setting for client meetings and regional outreach.
The firm has also continued to grow its Illinois-based team. In 2025, Lashly & Baer welcomed Michael P. McGinley, Kathryn M. Warren, and Trent W. Carriger. Effective January 1, 2026, the firm expects to add attorneys from Silver Lake Law Group; Jeffrey A. Mollet, Nicole E. Mollet-Marti, and Michael A. Lawlor, Jr., further strengthening the firm’s capabilities in Illinois.
