Brainerd W. LaTourette, Jr. has engaged in the practice of law for an excess of fifty years.  His practice covers the fields of motor carrier transportation law, regulatory law, probate and estate planning, corporate law, and general law practice.  He has counseled motor carrier clients in all aspects of their operations from initial incorporation, certification of operations with state and federal agencies, safety compliance, and loss and damage claims.  Additionally, he is a recognized expert in the field of household goods, having represented UniGroup, Inc., the parent company for United Fan Lines, L.L.C. and Mayflower Transit, L.L.C. for over 40 years in mergers and acquisitions, regulatory, corporate and finance.  He served as Senior Vice President and General Counsel of UniGroup, Inc. for a period of two years during which time, he completely reorganized the in-house law department.
