On October 20, 2021, the Missouri Department of Social Services (“DSS”) issued emergency regulations allowing hospitals to perform presumptive eligibility determinations on individuals applying for expanded Medicaid coverage.   Hospitals that want to begin to perform presumptive eligibility determination should complete the DSS Checklist.
