Michael C. Seamands concentrates his practice in the areas of real estate development, banking and finance, and general business law. He represents clients in the acquisition, financing, development, management, leasing, and sale of real estate. He handles various collateral matters for real estate developers, including zoning, property subdivision and subdivision restrictions, grants of easements, dedications of property for public use, parking agreements, review of title commitments and surveys, Section 1031 tax-free exchanges and tax increment financing ("TIF") deals. Mr. Seamands handles litigation related to real estate and zoning issues, including takings/inverse condemnation lawsuits, and zoning lawsuits under the Telecommunications Act of 1996 for placement of telecommunications towers.
