Carolyn M. Kopsky represents individuals, hospitals, businesses, and governmental agencies, both as defendants and plaintiffs, in various types of lawsuits, including those involving construction, banking, contracts and insurance. She has also successfully briefed issues before the Missouri Court of Appeals, the Appellate Courts of Illinois, the Missouri Supreme Court and the Eight Circuit Court of Appeals. She is currently principally engaged in litigation on behalf of hospitals in their efforts to recover unreimbursed health care costs incurred in treating tobacco-related illnesses.  She has been instrumental in researching and successfully briefing issues that have resulted in favorable new law for the firm's clients.
